Can airline tickets to La Paz be found for reasonable prices? Initial search brought in prices for nearly $800.00 a person! Looking for January - February. Perhaps too far in advance? |

Check airfare to Cabo - usually (always?) much cheaper than to LP. Only downside is extra hour driving to LV but nice drive especially since the San Antonio road was paved a couple of years ago! |

Ditto on the Cabo idea. We payed $375 in February, rented a car and still payed less than flying into La Paz. |

If you fly into Cabo you can get a taxi for $100 each way, which is cheaper than car rental if you are staying very long. SafeRide is one business providing the service.
I too am going to La Ventana in Feb. and right now flying out of Pasco the tickets are $550 but would be cheaper out of a major city. |

Cabo is cheaper for sure. I would looking on the forums for people who are going the same time as you and see if you can do a ride share. |

Check the airline websites regularly. Sales come & go and the best prices sell out pretty quickly. Make sure you check the "special Fares" or "web specials" or similar sounding areas on the websites. Some of these special fares won't come up if you check prices on the main website or do a general web search.
Second on the Cabo idea. It's a cool drive & you get to check out Los Barriles. It's nice to have a car when in La Ventana anyway. |
