| Anyone hazard a guess whether its windy at the North Coast this weekend?With highs in the Portland area pushing 100 sure would be nice to get a day or two in at the coast. Ikitesurf is sounding a bit optimistic but the NOAA site looks bleak. |

I'm watching the low pressure trough pushing into the south coast right now. NOAA says it's heading northcoast way. We can't complain though...had a sweet run ......13 days straight...all on small kites! Was hoping for 14 today but it looks sad.
Hope you yankees squeeze in a few days before the bubble reaches you.
From a NOAA point forecast near Pistol River:
Synopsis....... THE LOW PRESSURE TROUGH WILL EXPAND INTO SOUTHERN OREGON ON FRIDAY AND INTO THE NORTHERN OREGON COAST BY SATURDAY. THIS WILL HELP TO DECREASE THE WINDS IN THE COASTAL WATERS.  |
