Me Very Happy

Think I'm putting away my surfboard for a while. (unless the wind is light/shitty)
so much fun juiced on the skate in front of Wells and in the channel yesterday.

I rode my skate barefoot for the first few years.
Started using shoes last year behind the ski.

Shoes = good

Someone even suggested them with surfboards but I just can't go there.
probably works great.

I'm wakeskating. Landed one indy grab off the kicker after 30 attempts. Super fun stuff!

i wakeskate. find its the most fun when you wound up on a smaller kite. I ride a obrien 107 so kinda on the small side but nothin beats whippin around all juiced up like that.

my body would beg to differ after a few hour session on the skate tho.... Twisted Evil

Nice one, Forrest. -and unhooked for sure.

I was going for a few grabs off the chop.
It's actually easier than with the surfboard.
Better pop due to the short length.

Feels so good for the board to just come
up and stick with your feet. Seems way
more solid than with my 6 footer. don't
know if its the shoes, board size,, probably
a combination. Luv it need to shuvit!

Easier to stick the landings too.
Got to be lit though. And yeah,
a bit of a work out.

is a bit harsher on the knees (even with the sneaks)
just pushin that extra rocker for a few hours

I need to size up one kite size from the skim - the skate is somewhat a dog for getting upwind - but definetely the toy for the funbox tho

Problem is not too many big guy skates out there.
Maybe the LF twinskate I see Shawn(?) riding.
or
Take your favorite
old POS twintip.
remove straps,
proceed to NSI (think they even have 3/4 x ~5 wedge shaped foam)
sniff glue.
buy shoes (don't forget that)
see how that goes.
