South Beach State Park or Beverly Beach State Park if you are camping. Both are right on top of the kiteboarding beaches in the area.
If you are doing the motel thing, there are a dozen that are right on the bluff in Newport looking out on the ocean for easy check of wind and wave conditions.
Tons of budget motels on the 101 strip if you are frugal and want to save bucks.
Don't have any motels I can really recommend as I live here and never stay at any of them. Reservations are recommended for weekends as this place gets hit hard by the tourists this time of year.

Beverly is sweet!! Often sunny and windy up there when the jetty is still fogged in. Sweet shore dump right on the sand below the creek that gives you a nice out off the shoulder Love that stretch of coastline. |
