I recently got a second kite, a T2 14M complete… love it... having lots of fun..
..but I like my T3 fullstroke bar on my 9M much better…
Can I convert the T2 control bar to a T3 version and utilizing as much as possible from the T2 system such as lines and bar it self?
If so, does someone have a parts list on what is needed?

I guess I should have stated why I like the T3 system better…
On the T3, the Center Safety system Red Oh-Shit Handle is below the bar…. compared to the T2, it is above the bar … that seems to cause twisting of the centerlines combined with the Bungee leash… I had to un-hook the leash several times…. Of cause, I am not that experienced … been riding now for 1-2 years mainly on the T3.

I don't have time right now to outline the whole process. Sorry... Maybe later on I can put together a post on how to do this. Also, I no longer have a T2 here in the NW, so I can't post pics. If you look at the parts I posted and then look at a T2 bar and then a T3 or REV bar, it should be fairly obvious what needs to be done. The bungee might not be the right length, in which case you'll have to splice up an extension line for it.
The conversion is definitely doable. However, If you're not VERY comfortable with modding bars, and VERY diligent about checking, rechecking and live testing of all of your work, then don't mess with it. The Rev/T3 safety system is second to none, but must be done properly for it to work correctly. If you have any doubt at all about your ability, buy a T3 bar.
A couple of things to keep in mind if you do the mod. The front lines MUST be spliced 800 pound spectra line. No sleeving or it won't work. The line sets are available from Slingshot if you're not comfortable splicing line. If you use a Rev line-set, your back leader lines will need extensions approximately 26 inches long. Better yet, make new leader lines.
The T2 works great with this safety. Really a worthwhile upgrade. The bridle is not as compact as on the T3, so you do have more chance of tangling... I use one of those little yellow stopper balls from Slingshot on the safety line to limit safety line deployment to the minimum necessary. This seems to really decrease the possibility of tangling on the T2, and decreases time to relaunch.

Thanks for the info... I started to put together a picture based parts list combined with the on-line (pdf file) from Slingshot for the T3 and your piece part links ….
