This is ridiculous. My friend Troy lost his board at Rufus last weekend. He gets a call from someone who says they found his "wakeboard" and the dude wants to know if there is a reward for it? (he had his name and phone number on the board) Troy tells him that he had $ 40 dollars in his wallet. Apparently the guy didn't think that was enough and hung up. He had his number blocked, so there's no way to call the guy back. He hasn't called back since then. I'm guessing it was a fisherman on the bank or in a boat because the board disappeared pretty quick. He searched for it by Jet Ski right after he lost it. If anyone hears about a 2009 North Jaime Pro 135 for sale let me know. |

I was at Rufus enjoying my coffee when Troy lost his board. He was not in the water long enough for his board to get that far away from him.
If this happens to me I hope I have the presence of mind to tell the finder whatever he want to hear, so, I can get in front of him, take it from him, get a license # or???.
this assuming that he is not able to beat the heck out of me. |
