Some of the traction pad on my 6' Rocky is peeling/comin up/off. What is the best way to clean off old crap residue , and re-adhere the pad? |

Acetone or any type of goo be gone (goof off etc.) will work.
Try 3m double sided tape to get it to sick again...that stuff sticks to anything. Be sure to clean the area well before you apply it. |

Barge or any other contact cement really, but Barge is the best _________________ BIP- "YOUR GIRLFRIENDS FAVORITE" |

best stuff for removing old sticky: http://www.shop3m.com/62466749306.html
Fiberglass Supply stocks it in Seattle.
Weldwood contact cement is also good. And you do know that you apply contact cement to both surfaces and then let it dry. Then as soon as the two items make contact it sticks. PFM |

Surfboards are like a box of chocolates. You never know what you'll get until you try it.
I love riding surfboards but I also love to jump them. I would destroy a regular surfboard.
So I got a kite-surf-board built by North Pacific. I tried a dozen boards, went to North Pacific and told them what I wanted and Art built me an amazing board.
So - figure out what shape you like and go to North Pacific in Hood River and have them build your dream board. With or without straps. With or without extra glass for jumping. |

I'm gonna tell you that my boards are the best. If you wanna demo a board then let me know.
Go to Degree33.com, link below, and check the prices, low, but quality high with a buy back guarantee. These boards come out of the same factory as LF stuff.
Right now I have a 6 foot thruster(3) and a hybrid quad 6 footer. We are doing some R/D on a kite specific board set for next year. We will have a 5-8 quad and tri, a 6 foot quad and tri, and a 6-3 tri/quad convert, maybe...
These are tough boards, but anything will ding and or break if you land it flat. These boards are light, not heavy, so they are twitchy, like a real surfboard.
If I don't have the board you want to demo I'll get it. _________________ Hey, I'm being hahahahahrassed! |
