Hey Chooch, after a few weeks of I&I to reduce swelling, start with an easy pendulum exercise, increasing range of motion little by little. Be patient and don't push recovery, and don't try to go overhead too soon. When range comes back find a wall and push into it with your open palm and elbow at 90 degrees, easily, then turn and push into the wall with the back of your palm (elbow still at 90). Build up pressure little by little. This worked for me, and I kited yesterday for the first time (no jumps). Go easy or you'll pay for it at my age! Wink

Thanks for the kind words guys! Got a checkup tomorrow...should get a good idea if there was any other damage then.

@ Stringy: There was really nothing anyone could have done. I had all my gear with me. Thought about dragging to the OR shore line but that would have been a logistical nightmare since everyones cars were on the Washington side. Also thought about flagging down a boat, but dealing with my kite and board would have been a major problem. Body dragging solo was really my only option (even if it was the most painful one). It was just bad timing on my part....you guys just took off down wind when I ate shit. Nothing you guys could have done to help me out anyways. I knew that Gman and Chanson would be at the launch so I just had to suck it up and get back to there.

Would love to grab your camera and shoot some footy Stringy! Thanks for the offer Very Happy

Smackdown, augered & my knee got yammered.
I let go immediately but still got the shiv. Seeing
the good Dr. Grewe tomorrow to look it over. Doesn't
feel like it's gonna heal on it's own.-- but then again,
I'm glad I didn't land in the hospital for a few nights.

Yeah, I was looking for your face in the crowd when I was called up? Figured I didn't see you because I was shell shocked.

Raising cash. But, wtf? My amount was lower than any previous year, must be the recession.

Now.... Can you show me how to drive this thing?

Kip
