Any advice for Hood River vacationers keen for a day trip to the coast?? We are hoping for some wind and waves within 2.5hrs from hood river. We have bored wives and screaming kids to deal with. Ft Stevens state park in Warrenton is a great place for the family and a bunch of us will be doing downwinders from parking lot B to Shipwreck in the park.
