I don't have the complete list yet but thought I'd throw out a couple of names of some riders that should be at the event next week.

1. First up is Andy Hurdman! Not sure if he will be competing but certainly will be riding. If you haven't seen Andy riding you need to get your butt down to the waterfront on Friday and catch his style!

2. Reed Brady returns! Reed won BOTG in 2007 and put on a fantastic show for us. Expect to see more of what Reed was throwing down in this video: http://vimeo.com/12303776

3. Ben Chambers is still here! Ben won BOTG four (4!!??) years ago and we're looking forward to seeing his big air moves again.

4. And last on the list (for now!) is Shannon Gormley! Known for her mega kite loops and go for it style, Shannon will be on the water showing the girls and guys how she won 2007 BOTG and this year's Big Air in La Ventana.

Steve Fisher will be along in a day or two with an update to this list. Or, if you're one of our past winners or a team rider and plan on riding on Friday chime in and let everyone know.

thanks!

Tony

What happened to past winners not being able to compete in the following years?

The past winners and pro's get to ride against each other on Friday afternoon and they are competing for bragging rights and some other, fun, smaller prizes. The main amateur comp is on Saturday and has the big cash and gear prizes.

The focus is on the amateurs and riders who haven't won or been picked up by a sponsor. But we also wanted to let the past winners come out and put on a show for the crowd.
