www.kitecomrades.com is a web based kiter community that enables you to link beaches all over the world with a local kiters and find out what they are up to. not so much about the conditions, as about the riders and their kitelife. our goal is the possibility for everybody to know a local kiter wherever he goes

Sorry I hijacked your thread Reinis...
I think you're trying to promote a home-launch napster kind of thing...which could be cool...except every time I leave the PNW I wish I stayed home...and every time I stay home, I wish I would've left.
I'm screwed. 
I wish I was G and could sprinkle wind and waves wherever my travels take me...

PNW is on my wishlist for long time already. but it`s exactly on the opposite side of the globe from my home, so it`s a pricey journey.
i actually have some relatives there (in Oregon) who say it`s the most beautiful state of the US. so no wonder you wish you had stayed at home every time you go somewhere else
i hope that once fully evolved, kitecomrades will help a lot with choosing the right destinations for every individual.

you should integrate with couchsurfing.org somehow. They have a kiteboarding specific group.
You'll need some critical mass of active users to get this going and make it viable. The app I'm sure is great but will die quickly without users.
