Can anyone breakdown the difference between the two? From a school standpoint, what are the advantages of IKO?
thanks

i can tell you that as an instructor i feel like the pasa people are more fair and that i basically wasted my money doing IKO and now have to spend more money to go pasa. and every school i have talked to supports either pasa and iko or just pasa... i guess only Iko isnt good enough

I did feel that I learned some valuable lessons getting my IKO Level 1 cert. However, once certified, IKO is pretty much a Ponzi scheme. Everything and anything you de requires a from to be filled out, which you buy from IKO, which you send to IKO, which they charge you to evaluate, which...

Hi All ,
I didn't really look into any specific organization due to the fact I wasn't aware there were any . Starting five years ago I took lessons from a few different people and one for sure IKO , as i'm level 3 . So what does that do for me ? I can travel and rent gear at IKO locations . Great until you see the prices charged for rentals . Yes gear is expensive to buy too but ...... I'll bring my own thanks . Unless I had a breakdown then I could rent without proving competence first , because I have the card .
Maybe if your trying to go pro and you have to choose , I don't know .
For me , I wanted to learn the sport and ensure I did it safely .
Get pointers from people in the know from personal experience .
Everyone wants to make a buck and I see that with these " Organizations " too .
Learn the rules to do it safe and respect each other .
