Well, the year is starting like all others. While the dog issue is a well stated problem that never seems goes away, I think an even bigger problem is those litlle yellow line holders the sprout up every spring. While changing your lines ever year is wise leaving them all over the event site and the sand bard sucks! Please pick up your trash and put it in those little yellow topped barrels. They are called trash cans.

Yeah and, when you get a new kite, don't wait until a windy day at the launch site to pull it out of the bag for the first time. All the little styrofoam crap, tags, and whatever other crap starts blowing all over the beach! 
Preparation starts at home! |

| Tell me again what the problems are with the dogs? You do know that the sandbar has been renamed "Dog Beach". In fact, many a dog are getting pissed off that us aerogant kiteboarders try to claim the beach from them every summer. I for one want to hear from the dogs, what do they have to say and how do they feel about being forced off their beach? I do know that between the months of September and May, when no one else gives the sandbar nere a glance or care, that the trusty dogs and their dog owners are out there religiously, rain or shine. More than I can say for us kiteboarders who only show up when the weather is nice. So the question becomes, if more dogs use the beach during a full calendar year than kiteboarders, shouldn't we be asking them if we can use their beach? Don't you think they get pissed having to watch out for our kite lines? and empty beer cans? |

I dont even bother to use the porta johns down at the sandbar anymore, i see all the locals and they just shit on the beach...
