The US premier of the new kite movie Behind The Scenes will be on Thursday, April 22nd, at Andrews/Skylight Theater in Hood River, at 6:30 and 8:15. There will be some as-yet-undisclosed swag giveaway from North Kiteboarding, Big Winds, and Kiteboard 4 Cancer.
Tickets are $7 and every penny goes to KB4C.
Here's a little blurb about the video:
A spy has infiltrated the ranks of a highly successful international kiteboarding company, investigating all aspects of the group‘s activities, with the goal of finding out everything he can about this dynamic young sport. From the barren landscape of a secret Egyptian lagoon, to the rich visual textures of the Columbia River Gorge, we follow the action of the North Kiteboarding Team around the world. By gaining covert entry into design lofts and factories in Sri Lanka and Austria, we see how they create the tools for the watersport they love. What started out as a jet-setting global mission to uncover what goes on in the hearts and minds of the leaders of this sport, turns out changing our hero’s life forever.
So come down, get some pizza and beer, and kick off an awesome season with an awesome flick.

Ugh this is a HIKE from Eugene, and I would totally do it if it was a Friday night..
Can't really justify, or maybe I can?? ditching class Friday morning/afternoon.

This is a great excuse to come to the Hood and it's for a good cause.... after all, what else are you doing on a grey Thursday evening?
There will be KB4C and North Kiteboarding swag and door prizes!
Throw down some pizza and beer, chill and watch a movie to get stoked for the upcoming season!
Did I mention ALL the proceeds go to KB4C??
