heres my method for large repairs, you need blue masking tape, contact cement, an old bladder
1. tape the bladder together from the INSIDE of the repair, trying to get it back to original shape
2. cut a patch from old bladder that will cover the repair.AND THEN SOME
3. tape the patch flat to a table and apply contact cement, do the same with the bladder being repaired(by taping it down it wont curl when the cement is applied)
4. when dry carefully apply patch over blow out
Used this method on really big blowouts when repairing leading edge blowouts with 100% sucess
