My small kite was put away last fall with the a deflator left in the fill valve for the one of the small struts. Is there away to get the membrane valve to work again? The strut is so small that pinching it off isn't working for me. |

Are you asking about the little ball that stops the air from commming out? If so you can boil and shrink the valve itself so the stopper works. |

It has the other kind of valve, no ball. Just a little flap inside the the valve stem, and you use a small piece if black plastic stick. insert the stick and it pushes the membrane open, if you leave the stick in to long the membrane stays pushed in and will no longer control air flow. |

I would try heating up the valve/membrane (warm water or a blow dryer) then use your finger to hold the membrane shut for a while, heat and repeat. Then inflate and leave it inflated to hold the membrane shut for a while. |
