The attorney general -or- surgon general of Oregon ( I can't remember) has "advised against using such a device. It has caused 3 deaths nationwide this summer." It wasn't banned or anything. I love the halo around the tube. www.youtube.com has some excellent real wipeout videos. If you watch those videos, you'd see the tube never launches into the air that hard, but they do roll upside down after getting up to 15-30 feet and hurl the riders down at the water, when the boat is traveling around 45 mph. These tubes are Natural Selection at its finest.
