Anyone have any experience kiteboarding in Seoul? I have a weekend between trips in Asia and not sure what the conditions are like there. Otherwise, I'll try for Tokyo.
thanks

I was passing thru 3 weeks ago and spent a day there. Incheon (west of Seoul) was WINDY. 20 plus wind. It was COLD. Just above freezing.
Good luck and keep us informed.

Yea, I spent a few months kiting in SE Asia this winter and met quite a few kiters from Seoul. Apparently it's almost always 14m conditions, so no need to bring a small kite. Dry suits for winter kiting are also big there. Check on kitebeaches to find out more information, but if it's windy you definitely will not be the only one kiting.

thanks for the comments! I hope there is some wind. A friend in Japan also suggested to meet up at this place in the photo but I can only read the pictures.

The pic is of a kiteshop in miyakojima. It's a small island off of Okinawa japan. MYC is the Vortac identifier if you are a pilot. Anyway, Seoul has a few liters that ride on the river there. I don't suggest it as the boat traffic is heavy and the water is dirty. Pusan and chejudo would be way better if you have a couple of days. Btw if you fly by Tokyo look me up and I'll take you kiting here. Good summer winds right near haneda airport.
Peace,
J
