that was the weakest jet ski rescue EVER. those guys have obviously not taught kiteboarding in hood river.

wind was definitely looking pretty dead,

props to the kiter for going for it in the frozen north, gotta gear up and sack up for that.

The report said he was wearing a heater vest. Never heard of on. Does it work, is it worth it? My O'neill Mutant wetsuit is so amazing, I can't amagine needing much more

Great, I did a solo session mid last Nov. in front of light house. Nice to find now that people might have been watching out for me. Its very intimitating there as in a south wind if you have any trouble there is a bay that is wind sheltered and if you dont get to there you blow out to the middle of commencement bay.

Quiksilver Cypher Heated Vest,

All reports are that they are sick, the idea is you can drop down a mill or two on your suit and still be toasty. Hard to get, they under built them and they are only 199.95 so they are a hot item.

Must have been a slow news day in Tacoma if that was the best use local news could make of helicopter at a few hundred bucks an hour.
