Hi,
on my 08 7 meter fuel the dump valve pops out in a hard crash, LE down suicide leashed. any reccomendations other than glueing it shut? I don' t have this problem on my other fuels. it's keeping me from trying new stuff on this kite, and I'm sick of swimming in with a wet bag.
thanks,
Matt

make sure you leave it open when not in use also I have heard that putting it in hot water will shrink it up or putting a ziptye around it.

Or you could just replace the dump valve. They run 15 bones at airtime. Replacing them is fairly simple. You put the old valve in hot water - but not too hot - and then it just sort of peals off. let it dry, stick on the new one. Simple.

I'll probably end up replacing it.
it pushes through the velcro holders and doesn't seem loose in the female part of the valve. maybe try that hot water trick first.
thanks

the hot water will tighten the valve. i was trying to replace a valve once (had already done this on different bladders) but the seal wouldn't come off. i kept it in the water for ten minutes or so and still nothing. then i realized that the hot water had tightened up the valve so no need to replace after all

so you mihgt try to put the valve in hot water but not the seal.. so you don't melt the glue or whatever it is
