I am seeing reports call for good wind this weekend on the extreme south coast. Tried the north coast for the first time two weeks ago and was stoked.
What are the launch sites on the south coast for kiters? Things to watch out for? etc....
Any guys planning on heading south coast this weekend?

| Pistol River comes to mind ,you might want to go early or when light ,there is a strong wind shear coming around the point when windy but fun when light ,Gold Beach is good ,and Whiskey Run in Bandon area |

| Check out face rock in Bandon, not great wave riding but it usually doesnt get super windy like it will at pistol. i have woken up at 7 am to white caps and 4.5 meter sailing by 9 am at pistol back in my windsurfing days. that place blows harder and more often than the gorge. |
