Hey what's up. I'm from Minnesota and heading to Coeur D' Alene for some snowboarding in a couple of weeks. I'm bringing my kites with and was hoping someone could Give me some info on a The Closest, Semi- Consistent Wind Spots in the Area? Thanks!

...get the most consistent, snowy, windy, deep, fluffy cold smoke snowkiting along I-90.

there's no snow here this year. Contact Noah and hit montana on your drive out (if you're driving)

Just got to know where to go yo.
This year is tough for the lowlands, but the local lakes are frozen, at least 3 0f which are kiteable as far as I know. No deep pow, so keep that in mind, but they are park and ride locations.
Mt spokane is a possability also, but we've only talked, nobody that I kinow of has kited it yet. I kited Schweitzer about 3 years ago, but you need permission and I wouldn't reccomend it. Way too sketchy.
PM if you want any more info, and definately ride mt. pow on your way...

Mt spokane has been kited upon. S winds the spot is not large and watch out for the tower at the top. Here is what the spot looks like.

The key to Iceage's statement is that the S. Face of Mt. Spokane is not large. Looks big from town, but shrinks when you're hooked into a kite. Dooable, but not destination quality.
