My wife doesn't kite but we played tennis every morning before I kited and she stayed at the the villa and wrote songs. http://www.myspace.com/tessbarrbluesband
She had a blast and is going back. I'm counting the days until we go.
.

This place looks super cool but for $240 a night it is kind of spendy!

Remember that includes all of your meals by your own chef, and beer and wine's included too, although we went through our allotment early. The villa's are incredible. Each with their own pool. We played tennis every morning by ourselves before kiting.

That place looks awesome Cap but a bit over my budget.

Currently looking at Riviera Maya All inclusive Resorts with airfare, food, drinks lodging for 6 nights for 750 - 1000 per person. Not Bad

Looks like kiting at Playa isnt to far

You should post more pics of kiting in Nam. I'm thinking of making that my next trip...

I've been to Thailand twice, before I started kiting. I don't recall seeing any kiters though. Where are the best spots? Which coast?

The package prices are designed for beginner kiters for the first week and a kiteboard travel adventure throughout Costa Rica for the second week.

Someone that just want to go down and kite without all the instructions, gear support and tour transportation, contact Windwing organizers at cr@windwing.com or 541-380-0907. They have pricing comparable to what you state at Riviera Maya.

Check out http://www.windwing.com/dnn/SPECIALEVENTS/tabid/162/Default.aspx for more details.
