A couple of Yankee Cranks got turns on Sunday in uber-light Easterlies on Sunday, but today's the first legit day on the Camas Prairie.

20-25 Westerly flow all day, temps in the teens and 6+ overnight. Bluebird for the next few days, let it roll. Sorry no action shots--too busy desk jockeying~!

See ya out there,[img][/img] Very Happy

Totally doable, altho haven't done it myself. Monty & some peeps did a couple years back when living at the Ranch.....lots of light on a full moon. Westerly's typically blow all night-backing off a few mph after sunset.

I saw some pics after Snowkite Soldier last year of kiters sessioning rails by the snowmobile park using headlights. The next few nights will be full Moon, if anyone's nearby check it out and rip it up!

Go now if you can...
Conditions were excellent on Wednesday. On Thursday, we found a spot close to Sun Valley. Yesterday I drove back to PDX through the many storms...and I think many of the plow operators were still sleeping following New Year. Webcams this morning show amazing conditions (lots of new snow, 15mph west and bluebird)
