I am looking to hear about brands that you have found to protect your skin without dripping in your eyes and goes on smooth and has good resistance to water.

I know it seems like a strange time of the year to ask about sunscreen, but there is no time to let your guard down. This holds true for cloudy days at the ski area, on back country hikes, snow kiting etc. Some of you are lucky and get to go to the tropics. You all are sucking up UVs one way or another. If you have not been in the sun in a while, you are more likely to get a sunburn.

So far I have had good luck with the stuff they gave us a KB4C and Neutrageena Sport.

Sol sunscreen is the best!!!! It doesn't burn your eyes at all

The only prob is kind of hard to find sometimes. Pepi at 2nd Wind carries it.

don't be a puss. THis is the stuff real men wear. Yes, butter flavor (it is a known cougar attractant).

I've just been buying the highest spf baby sunscreen I can buy. I got lots of sun in bama when I was little and I had melanoma cut out of my back two years ago. It was freaking scary, but they got it early enough so it didn't spread. I have a friend that had the same thing, but he didn't catch it soon enough. Now he's going through Chemo. Crazy thing is that the only reason I went to the dermatologist in the first place, is because it was free that year. I had already paid my out of pocket maximum from my knee surgery so I was getting everything checked out. I had never been to a dermatologist before. Now I go every 6 months.

Anyway I never get burned and my eyes do not sting with the baby lotion.

I think he means this:

and that his comment should end the thread, because there should be no debate.

Huh?......What?.......why do you need sun block in December??????

Manzo Andree turned my on to Aloe Gator Sunblock 30 weight. It has never failed me and has never run or gotten in my eyes, even on some of those long down winders that I do with that Yardsale kid.

Get some

I like the stuff from Australia. They really get the sun there.

Use this chap-stick-like stuff around your eyes like a Mardi Gras mask...Then use some other good brand (most of them sting the eyes, but the "mask" prevents it from getting into your eyes) for the rest of your face.
