Greetings fellow kiters.
My girlfriend Kristin and I sailed our way down the west coast from Oregon and are about to get to La Ventana for some kiting. I have been carrying my gear this whole way and would love to ditch it in La Ventanaas we are going to be backpacking further after LV. I have an old kite and board and know I can't sell it for what it is worth to me. I am looking for anyone who might have a little extra room to bring one kite and one board back to Hood River or anywhere is the Northwest for me. We will be in La Ventana for about a month or so and then traveling for a couple months after that and my gear could get back anytime.
If anyone has any info or possibilities let me know.

Hey Colin,
I'll be in Los Barilles Dec 9-31. I'm only carrying one bag, so I'd be happy to bring the kite home for you for the $25 "extra bag" fee on US Air. Not sure if the board would fit, but they usually charge and assload for surfboard type stuff. Might be better to find someone driving back up...
Let me know if I can help you out. You can leave the Kite with Doug on the 2nd arrollo in Los Barilles till I get there if you want.

Thanks for the offer. I will consider it. I am going to wait and see if anything else comes up. I sure do appreciate the offer though. I will let you know it is going to work out.

im not sure if were totally going to miss you, but were heading down Dec 28th and will be there until the 1st of Feb. i totally have extra room, but i think the timing is wrong....

It would totally be possible for me to leave my kite and board with someone and you could grab it from them. People down here and super willing to help out and I am sure I could find someone to leave it with. I will keep you posted. Is there an email I can reach you at instead of this?
