I'm thankful for all of the NWkite.com folks who have helped the program. There are many of you who dropped off old helmets, bike gear, and the like. It's such an incredible thing to give to those have so very little.
During this time of need remember that within a mile of your home there may be a child with no jacket, no shoes, no nada, zip. She/he in a state of dependence on a parent that has lost a job and is unable to provide the basics.
I know I'm a blowhard and that sometimes I miss the mark on my posts, but here is an idea that I would like you all to consider. If you can look past my persona bulae99 and remember the kids in program have brothers and sisters and more.
How about NWkite start a T-day Tradition of donating a basket to a needy family in the community?
Who would like to participate in providing a food basket to a needy family this Thanksgiving Holiday? I can organize and pull it off as I have Wednesday off.
If you allow me to pick a family from one of the kids in the program and give a food basket would you be interested in donating?
