Nice to know when the shit hits the fan this works!

Out at the coast with Genek - I was on the 6m RPM and it was pretty typical fall wind 15 to 25 with some crunchy 10 ft swell

a black cloud appeared - hard to ignore - we tried - went from 15 to 50 with sideways driving sleet - couldn't see much so sailed in - setup for full disconnect if things went bad

put kite to edge of window - released to saftey - kite flagged out nicely - walked down holding outside line - all good

was difficult to walk back up the beach - holding board and kite

20 minutes later - dead calm

Yeah, got to test out the high end of the new 8m Havoc. Impressive! Cops even came out to check Gman and I were OK and held his kite while he wrapped up his lines. That's full service Thumb's Up

I've had to flag my 10 Rpm at secret on gusty days the built up too quick. The safety system is really nice on the Slingy stuff for sure.

Have you seen the Octane bar? It's even better!

Normally I would agree with you. But, when it's hitting 50mph and sleet is flying sideways so hard you can't turn your head you don't really wanna be out there. Besides kiteboarding's not illegal on the OC.

Guys, the vast majority of cops in this country are dedicated to saving your ass. They go into harms way so you don't have to. Nobody like getting a ticket, and most cops don't like writing most of the tickets they write. If you're going to hate, hate the folks that write the laws. Then get out and VOTE for different people.

I have used my CSS for my 15 Rev many times. Like when it goes from 17 to 35mph
in 10 seconds, It's a great system.

I doubt that most cops would get out of their rigs and face 50mph winds and driving rain just to "bust" you for some minor offense. "yeah, I think I see a bong in that guys wetsuit".

Not a huge fan of cops, but they sure are nice to have when you need them. That has got to be THE worst job in the world.
