Jacob,

I think you are a big fan of short lines? I used to enjoy my 16M lines, especially on small kite-nuked out days....but I didn't like the way they jump.

They were also great for learning kite loops...by reducing consequences.

Now I just stick with the Slingy standard which I think is 25M? I think most companies have adopted 25M?

Slither.. I think SS rev's come with 23m standard. I chopped a set down to 20m for rooster. It makes a huge difference in boostability.

Good to know...

So you feel like the shorter 20M lines are more boosty? I would have thought the opposite is true.

I definately feel like the shorter lines make the gusty Rooster days less scary...

no, there was a LOT less boostability for sure. The shorter lines helped my 7m rev from jumping in the window and just being a little bastard in the horrible winds up in the ponds but when I got farther down river I kept jumping and...where the hell did the boost go?

The timing difference is that much but losing the ability to stretch that extra 10 feet if line sure did reeduce overall height and time in the air.
