Seaside was ridable. Definately a sack-shrinker on the outside!

Big waves and big slow kites is SCAREY. Not to mention the goofy direction of the southerlies makes me have to pay more attention.
Winter is for the real men or women at the Oregon coast..
Nothing like playing in the surgy foam with all those big driftwood chunks banging around while you bodydragging for the "SWIM PARTNER" your strapless board.
On a good note with the chaos of storm swell sharks are on the backburner of my mind.
its on for sure for the next several monthes.... having to dry out kites that is.

Full retard! LOL
"Love" that few moments you have when your kite goes down outside the break on big days and is un-relaunchable. You get to think about the choices in front of you... none of em good. Nope. Here is my short list.
If not too big, stay hooked in and get that bitch to catch up in a set. Hold breath and it is a quick ride to the beach. Go collect board somewhere.
If real big and relaunch impossible, ditch kite, reverse your harness 180deg and try to paddle (ha!), aka hold breath and get worked. Barf up salt water, go collect gear somewhere, prepare for a detangling session.
