Thu Oct 08, 09 7:43 pm Another Day Killing It in the Canyons of Norris Hill |
|
|
“Norris Hill never holds snow.” That has been the rule for as long as I‘ve been kiting. I guess rules are made to be broken. Yesterday another storm blew through and laid in a few more inches on top of a dry styrofoam-base. Today’s conditions were smooth, steady winds and fresh powder for the three of us out kiting Norris Hill.
As I learn the terrain and where the various gates in the fences are located, I’ve pushed the boundaries of where to kite in this special spot. Today was a great day of high flyin’, powder shreddin’, gully bashin’ snowkitin’.
There’s not too much to say other than,
See ya out there,
Noah

Today's weather (Friday 9 Oct) is looking good - Bozeman (20 degrees @ 6 a.m.) got a few inches in town and its beginning to blow. Norris Hill is nuking in the 20+mph range and is 13 degrees. No complaints here!
See ya out there,
Noah
Here's a few more shot (of yours truly) taken by kiter and photog extraordinaire Joe Irons.
