Eventsite now open!

The Eventsite is now open for launching and landing. This is good untill April 30. Then we go back to pump and dry (now with more room!)

Please be aware of others at the eventsite. Make sure you don't endanger anyone. The wind can be funky at take off. Get out and away from others as soon as possible. Also, the grass can be very slippery. Don't be a KOOK.

Yes, the launch is a bit sketchy right now with the grass being very, very wet and in some places slippery with mud (I ate shit just walking my lines down the grass).

Remember this is also an intermediate launch site, not for beginners or those who are not confident of their launching and landing skills in gusty, puffy launch areas.

Let's all be careful out there and keep up the good track record so that the Port knows that they made a good decision by giving us these opportunities and the extra pumping/drying space for next season.
