Just an FYI for those who like to kite, buggy or fly paragliders up by the South Jetty on the Columbia.
The beach north of the approach of the Wreck of the Peter Iredale at Ft.Stevens is now open to driving on the beach without restriction.
Down-winder fans rejoice!
Beach driving access is limited from 1-May to 15-Sep each year.

Its supposed to be onshore 10-12 by seaside. Perfect for paragliding. Not so much for kiting.
