You own a full quiver of 2009 gear.
You can throw down mad kite loops in 35 knot wind and stick the landing.
You have the baddest board shorts on the water.
But can you swim to shore if you absolutely had to?
Only a few more weeks until the Roy Webster swim. I feel like the only kiteboarder out there. Come sign up. Swim in the a.m., grab an early lunch and kite in the p.m. Make a day of it.

my thoughts exactly recently I had to swim through some doh surf
Was I ever glad not to have a pfd on !
After a year recovery from a broken leg
My everything has somewhat went to shit,,
My 5/4 suit really sucks when there's some swimming to do
with the warm water recently, lack of wind and a monster paddle board to huck around
and being out of shape  |

| might consider it, thanks for posting! certainly a good reality check for kiters out there.... I've had to do the scissor kick slog in and it takes forever, especially if you are dragging gear. |

mile swim was my mwf winter workout - usually get about halfway before suicidal thoughts would creep in - probably more fun with 500 other mutherfuckers

It went great. The drizzle stopped minutes before the start of the swim and we all got to swim with a rainbow in the background, great photo op. Air temp 60, water temp 71 
The oldest swimmer this year was an 89 year old man. Next year I'm going to try to field a KB team.
