Thu Aug 27, 09 7:16 am Way OT: Plasma TV in room with lots of S. facing windo |
|
|
Any experience here? Supposedly the newer Panasonics plasmas have anti-glare, but the room has lots of natural light, and I read about "Plasma Glare." Will daytime viewing/gaming work?
Thanks,
Eric |

Wow you bought that one too. Costco right? 30-40% cheaper then the LCD's I got the 42" So far no problems the light is bad tho don't know what to tell you other then cover the windows or wait til night time.
The kid at costco said they were able to burn in the screen at 5 hours I pay very close attention and don't let stay on long especially when gaming. It has a anti retention function in the menu. The tv is very nice and i'm happy with it so far. Nice thing about costco is 1 year no questions asked replacement.
Its funny that plasma was like 5,000 dollars just a few short years ago now NOBODY wants one. Love it so far so we'll see. ANY thing is better then DLP stay Far away from the mitsu's what used to be a awesome tv has been plauged by the DLP light bulbs are more then the tv and go out at will. |
