I5 north
go through longview, cross the longview bridge
after the bridge, hw30 to clatskanie
go through clatskanie
about 3 miles out of town you'll see some railroad tracks on the right and some turn outs, you can probably take most of the turn outs and make it to the beach. I take Marshland Rd and follow it out to the river

advice: if you are in a 2 wheel drive don't take it out on the sand

You can't go wrong with Jones today. 27 deg temperature gradient will have this place nuking till late in the evening.
When you pass Clatskanie, drive on 30 until you see the yellow blinking traffic light. Take right on that intersection. Enjoy the wind and empty beach!

The best way in that I've found is to go just past Woodson (which is itself just past Clatskanie), take a R on Watach Dr, cross the tracks and the slough, and take another R on Woodson Rd. Follow this for a bit, and take a L at the intersection of Woodson Rd and Webb District Rd (It's not very well marked) in order to stay on Woodson Rd. Drive a bit further, and take a R on River Front Rd. Keep an eye out on your left, and you'll eventually see the beach. It will most likely be clogged with ATVs and dirt bikes. There's a good size parking lot. Another way in, a little ways before Woodson, is to take Schroeder to Marshland to Midland District to River Front. The problem with this is that Midland District Rd is THE worst road in Oregon. Look it up on Mapquest, and these directions should make sense.

...For fuck's sake, stoner directions will get-you-there. What Blue said. No reason to make things complicated. Besides, I think Tommy (Chong)'s directions are basically the same as Blue's.
