Always was bummed when they mowed down those little tress. They were a nice source of shade although they did make it challenging parking when things started to get crowded. Nice find

Great pic Sting/Wing. I didn't see it until late 2004 and I had almost forgot what it looked like. Carnage was everywhere and kind of excepted compared to today because nobody quite knew what the hell they were doing. At least that's my impression because I was kooking the hell out of that place. Still do.

Now if I rig a 12m when everyone else is on 10's I get "dude, that's a big kite" before they launch me when I so badly want to say "buddy...lose the Reel Leash and then have an opinion". Very Happy

Just kidding......I know safety is key and I'm thankful for the launch but the extra real estate we enjoy today is such a good thing for growth. You think the Sandbar is busy today......just think what weekend kiting would be like now if the river didn't purge??? 2 words; "Hello Rufus".
