The forecast changes no a daily basis.
The further south you go, generally means more wind.
You need to check the forecast and location of fog.
If the fog is just off shore and the wind is coming up then you are probably good to go.
Generally in the summer the wind direction in NNW, with predominate southerly flow in the winter.
Good luck getting it, persistence really pays off.
Check "Forecast" and "Spots" listed at the top of the page for additional info.

Newport- south jetty
Florence- south jetty
Lincoln city - roads end
Way down south: - Whiskey run near Bandon
- Pistol river - ocean , river mouth or the lagoon up top
- Floras lake
Look at the cams for fog. Wait till about 1 pm usually if its gonna burn off at all it will be gone by 1 or 2 PM
Pray for wind,

| Total classic vid. Haven't seen that in awhile. Wind is calling Jones as best bet today...and then coast. Hope the Phivothri scores. |

Wow, thanks for the props guys! It was a labor of Phivothri love and I may have to end my video career on that high note!
Yeah, Scott...it's prime time for our whole coast line. We were very well-served with wind up until about mid July when this heat wave showed up...this week things are forcasted to get SW and a little soggy.
Generally, the farther south you go, you get more sun and wind and you get it earlier in the day....with Manzo being the magic exception. Beyond that, anywhere can be epic...
