Kite Night Art Party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – Thursday July 30th 6-9pm
CHAP Art Factory 1030 NW Marshall St Portland, OR 97209
At last years Kiteboarding 4 Cancer auction I bid and won an Art Party. The party was donated by Frank Etxaniz the Founder and Artistic/Executive Director of the Children’s Healing Art Project. http://www.chap.name/index.php/ Way cool guy. From what Frank has told me this will be a party you won’t want to miss. Lots of fun art activities, beer, pizza and some crazy drink called a Frankatini are all included. Bring kites, boards, or anything you want to get paint on including your clothing. If you don’t want paint on it don’t bring it! All the kite Paparazzi are invited and we won’t throw paint at your cameras if you promise to post up your photos from the event. Carl, Gregg in and I are so in!! Thanks for winning the party!
Anyone who lives in Portland (with kids or not!!) should come to this party. The place is awesome and the cause is incredibly worthy. If anyone has had their kids in a hospital for critical care, you know how what it is like. This is the organization that brings calm, solace, and yes -- healing through art for the families and the patients going through trauma.
Children's Healing Art Project will also be at KB4C in 2 weeks!

Free beer and pizza! What more do you need? How about fun messy art activities and fundraising for a good cause. Party in the pearl district.
Consider bringing a change of clothes to go out in after the art party is over. The pearl district is always fun.

Hard to say no to kids with an event at the Children’s Healing Art Project : Art Factory. Bringing kids is up to your discretion. Just like kiting kids always add to the fun as long as they are safe and out of harms way. (PAINT FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
