| Glad I didn't see that before making the drive. Turned out to be a great day on the 14m. Super steady.

| Yeah I had today off and it was looking to be pretty hot in Eugene so I said to to hell with it and made the drive up. For my first time to the gorge it was pretty nice. Steady wind, flew the 10m all day up at the island. Nice to no have to wear a wetsuit. The wind slowed down quite a bit at 5 pm tho, I barely made it back to the spit. Oh and thanks to all who created the spot guide and who helped me at the beach, it made kiting there easy to navigate and getting away from the crowd was no problem.

So there was no blowaout? And there is no "aggro thread #4" about it
I guess that explains HR guys hitting Jones today. I am so beat after three days of solid 12m goodness Always remember all your options

Sandbar delivered both saturday and sunday. It was holey as hell before 3pm but both days in the afternoon it evened out to probably around 17mph
got a good solid 4 hours of 12m both days.
almost blew my mind. Today i noticed a 2nd foil kiter on the water. Totally threw off my whole plan of explaining to the hottie waitress Sat. night that I would be the only foil kiter on the water if she happened to be at the beach.
Honestly it was pretty cool to get such a positive impression of foils at the sandbar. I'm used to getting a lot of shit for flying sleeping bags. The sandbar's attitude was more along the lines of curiosity about them. Definitely very nice change of pace

Yep. Every racer would have had to be pulled out at Wind Mtn if the race was green-lighted. Nak would have been BUSY on his ski.
Wells Island to Hatch was tasty...tasty...if you could get to it.
