| was out after sunset on fri, wind dropped off entirely and kite fell out of the sky. Was in that area where the hood river feeds into the columbia so i wasn't getting back to shore very well. Just wanted to say big THANKS to dave w/ the kayak if you read this forum for trying to help me get back in. That was really nice of you. |

the dreaded pool of dispair. Hate that place. I spent so long out there a couple years ago I felt like having a pizza delivered. If it was early season I probably would have cramped up and drown. Sounds like a fun way to go..slowly freezing and then drowning, 300 yards from dry land.  |
