What's the read on the coast today...? It looks like its going to be windy, but cloudy too? I am in the Gorge and I know its going to be windy here, but I just can't resist that tasty costal goodness!

Any coast wind experts care to guess what North Coast will do?

This is a much harder question than one would think. If all things were equal, the coast would win every time. Will those clouds burn back?

				| looks pretty good from here. Clouds are supposed to burn off early afternoon and it's gonna crank. A little cloud cover isn't such a bad thing, you won't burn your eyeballs looking into it allday. The water is soooo warm right now. I'd go west!

				| Any coast reports? Trevor and I were indecisive and eventually settled on a 7m-9m Stevenson sesh. Toby showed up too and did some self rescue practice on the baroo'wd-Waroo. Sorry no pics!

Yesterday was light N of Cape Falcon but made for some downwinders. Big swell and light winds are not ideal for getting out but the inside was real fun. Today looks better:

.MARINE...WINDS HAVE EASED OVERNIGHT...BUT SHOULD REACH ABOVE 20 KT

AGAIN ESPECIALLY FOR THE CENTRAL OREGON COAST THIS AFTERNOON AND

EVENING FOR ANOTHER SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR WINDS. WILL NEED TO

MONITOR FOR NORTH OF CASCADE HEAD BUT WILL JUST PUT A FEW GUSTS TO

25 KT IN THE NORTHERN WATERS FOR NOW. WILL BE GETTING SMALL CRAFT

WINDS JUST ABOUT EVERY AFTERNOON AND EVENING THIS WEEK OVER THE

CENTRAL WATERS...POSSIBLY REACHING THE NORTHERN WATERS TUE AND WED

AND AGAIN ABOUT FRI. ROUGH BAR FOR NOON TODAY LOOKS MARGINAL BUT

WILL KEEP. ANOTHER ROUGH BAR LIKELY AROUND MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.

Weird how the wind strength can vary within a few miles, we put in up by the ship wreck at fort stevens and had no trouble getting outside for the first 6-7miles of the downwinder but then it was near impossible after that.. Macking waves yesterday, 9ft swell forecast was no bs. Best wave session I have had all year

Hope to be back this weekend.
