| Ian, Can you hit those? They don't look that hard but then again, I know that they are. |

| A big part of the equation is the wave kicker. |

I have gotten them but im not consistent at them. Jas does them a little different than most though because he starts out wit a mexican backroll. I do mine just with a regular backroll. _________________ I heart dangling |

I think regular is rotating tip of board up, more like a cartwheel...
a mexi-is taking the easy way out.... like rotating off edge of board, more chest and hips down over your board.. Last edited by chanson on Wed Jul 15, 09 1:06 pm; edited 1 time in total |

I tried to visualize a mexi roll and just can't. Probably because I'm old bald and stupid. The only think that pops into my head is Tony eating a bread and mayonaise sandwich.
from that internet thing" Mexican Roll - A Heelside Backroll where the rider throws his head and body down instead of to the side. It's normally considered an uglier version of a Backroll, but it's the rotation style used for a Roll To Blind or KGB. It's sometimes referred to incorrectly as a heelside Front Roll. "
So your like tumbling...?? |

| Sounds like a mix between a back roll and a tantrum? |

Its like doing a back roll but tucking in your back shoulder. You can see how that would slightly change the rotation, making it a little more inverted as you can see in the sequence. _________________ I heart dangling |
