| Wondering if there is something I should know about kiting on Long Beach? The wind was a moderate/strong side on shore today, I often see the wind blow here but never see anyone out. Is it just a spot thats out of everyones way?

Keep it down, or kooks are going to swarm it. You know, those coastal guys like to keep their spots secret
Long Beach is really out of the way. There are some other spots closer, and this I think is a main reason you don't see anyone there. I was out on Long Beach and Cape Disappointment several times with my 3m trainer, when I was starting.

crazy long shore current.
undertow that'd sink a cruise ship.
Sharks longer than the titanic.
Someone said a barge carrying barrels of cow blood sank and has been attracting huge Longfin mako sharks, every since this thread started...yikes they grow to 14 ft long....
no good reason to head out there........
