Columbia temp 61 degrees, toasty!

Just read on IWindsurf that the Columbia River temp is up to 61 degrees. Anyone know what temp it usually is when the majority switch to shorties? This weekend the water felt pretty warm even when the air temps were only in the high 60's. I think the next 80 degree day I'm switching over.

I thought about it the other day but this nasty gusty wind led me to break lines on a waroo 5 and an hour swim so i am glad I dindn't on that day.

The hot weather cools the river down as long as there is snow in them thar hills!

Quite a few peeps out in shorties this weekend, I think I still need another week or so, especially with as much as I self rescue. Smile
