Hi Gang... I have been hiding out since 1992 and am now surfacing...ha. I wanted to set a few things straight on your thread about SKURFER.
I owned a custom sailboard shop in Cocoa Beach Florida and also one in Annapolis, MD. I was under contract to re-design the SKURFER in 1987 by the owners of " SKURFER" that was Sentinal WaterSports. I was designing all kinds of professional sailboards at the time using the latest in materials, and going after the World Sail Speed Record in France. I took the origional "SKURFER", through it away and came up with the RAGE, Launch, and a few advanced wing models that worked extremely well but no one has seen. The biggest flaw in the " SKURFER" was that it was too hard to get up. The Launch was to fix this and Tony Finn and I tested it with kids right off of the beach, at Mission Bay, CA and it worked unreal. What else do you want to know????
After many years designing all kind of composite stuff all over the world I am now coming back this year with a whole new line of custom wake boards that will blow away everyone. _________________ " Evolution of Design" |

Want an old 2-line Wipika to go with that? _________________ "Resist much, obey little."

I have not seen Tony for many a moon, since he stayed at my home in Cocoa Beach. Say, HEY to him if anyone see's him. I did not know about his connection to LF, but maybe he would like to see my new line of custom sticks.
SAY HI to Tony...GOOD GUY ...have him tell you about the time he gave me his Antique English School Teachers Bike to ride around La Jolla. There was a major bike race and I ran into my friends from the shop next door that built Greg Lamonts bikes back in Fla. and here I am on a old English Bike..ha... they had a laugh for sure and were surprised to see me.
