If the rain holds off and the winds stay steady..anyone interested in drinking green beer and rolling around at the airport?

What time are you thinking MB?
I've been needing to get out and play with my lines a bit.
If the 5:53 wind update is good and the rain holds off I might be there by 7:30ish.
I have a class and can't get there any earlier.

It felt really good to ride something.
The water pouring from the sky made it feel more like actual kiting
Yeah, you just got demoted from PDXMB to Pussy-Ass MB Embarassed
You should have come, Jake was out there in the rain with a cast on.

Yeah, but Spike jumps the 10 foot fence across the street and just does his thing right on the runway. LOL.

Just about everyone is using a B2 or B3. Some days the B3s are too much!

The only problem I've found with the trainer kites is they sit to far forward. I want a small kite that sits back in the window so you don't charge upwind so damn much. I can't seem to keep the kite in the air without riding 45 degrees upwind.

The B3 is my favorite skate kite so far.
If you're not careful, you can lose control pretty fast when the wind is too much.
You start racing downwind and you cant just bail into the water because the water is asphalt.
A B3 with short lines will usually do the trick.
You will want the reverse relaunch kit.

forrest...I was gonna say try to shorten the lines....

But, I have an older windwing 3.3m, shaped more like a giant oval...Where the B-2s and B-3's have the tips swept, looking almost like a diamond.

Mine is super slow and flys so far back in the window sometimes too much it stalls out....So maybe a happy medium would be nice. but yeah, always having significant tension on the foils in kinda needed.

I like my b2, it flies so fast it does really well in light winds. The b3 can really generate some pull once you get moving so that is fun as well.

I'm starting to crave more and more speed.

The B2 in 15kts on 16m lines with a 10" bar is fun! Cool
