Sorry no photos just lots of stoke. Been here since Thursday and fresh snow every day. We did the "fresh tracks" breakfast this morning, highly recommended! Its 16 extra bucks but you get a nice big breakfast and beat the crowds by a good half hour to the freshies.

Timed it just right with the snow, prices, and currency ratios (1-1 USA to Kanuck Bucks right now, not like years past but better than what its been lately!)

Back to reality tomorrow, hopefully its dumps all week on Mt. Hood! I need more pow-pow. Very Happy

Driving home now... Sad

No kite gear on this trip, Squamish isn't far away and that's a big (water) kiting spot, so I'd bet there is a snowkite scene... but I haven't looked into it. There was tons of wind the last two days at the peaks but barely a whisper in the Village and lower mountain.

Nice photo!

Sounds like you guys had an awsome trip! The fresh tracks deal has gotta be great. Is that via cat, or early access to the lifts? How far in advance do have to sign up for it?

Sounds like you guys had a blast! Has it changed much because of the olympics?

Pics for the desk jockeys?

How far of a drive is it from Vancouver to Whistler? It's been a while since I've been on the sea to sky highway. It seems like last time it should have taken an hour, but took a lot longer. Headed to Whistler the 28th.

Our total drive from pdx too Whistler took about 7 hrs.

I think Vancouver to Whistler was maybe one and half to two hrs. The Hwy is pretty bad, they are doing construction the whole way in prep for the Olympics. I would recommend driving it during the day if poss.

Have a great trip.
