for the coast the shark thing ought to do it. let's see, Pac NW, near the mouth of a river, riding near dusk. are the sharks out there? absolutely!

for the gorge --- it seems there isn't a way to turn people off. although i've seen a few more kiters out in the surf this year, it sounds like the gorge kiting population is growing quite dramatically.

Hey Reg....that second one is a Dolphin......tourist will wanna swim with flipper!

I'll show them my farmer tan....that will scare em off! .....or blind them....
