Wed Aug 19, 26 2:13 pm Sunglasses on the water? |

Just wanted to pass this on to someone who might be on the fence
I asked a guy on the beach about his glasses and if it was annoying that they are constantly getting splashed leaving spots of water, he said if you don't wear them you can get scar tissue on your eyeballs and then you will be seeing spots forever, that was what really convinced me
I got a $10 pair of sunglasses at Safeway and a $10 glasses leash online and its been really great, no issues in some pretty good crashes
Anyone who has glasses/leash setup they recommend please post |

I don't wear sunglasses in the water anymore but I probably should. I would say if you're going to bother, get a good polarized pair with 100% UV protection.
The key to them not getting fogged up or covered in spots after getting wet is to pre-treat them with the special goop that you apply, let dry, and then polish off and do that several times. It's a hassle but it will keep them clear while you're out on the water instead of obstructing your vision. |
